Missouri

Missouri is strict when it comes to inmate search. The state department of corrections in Missouri will have to ascertain your relation with an inmate before you gain access to their Inmate Roster. You must enter the inmates’ full names and their Identification number.

The facility updates the database from time to time, and there will be no information for inmates who have been released, only those who are currently incarcerated. You need to have internet connection to access the state’s website.

You can also visit any of the prisons in Missouri in person. All the jails in the state have a kiosk at the lobby where you can get all the information you need about a loved one.

Inmate Roster

The Missouri inmate roster contains the official records of all prisoners from Missouri detention and correctional facilities. It includes those in county jails, minimum, medium, and maximum state prisons. The Missouri Sunshine Law ensures that jails and prisons in the state retain personal and administrative inmate data.

The offender lookup contains information, including race, age, names, and mugshots. The administrative component of inmates’ records includes the arrival date, imprisonment, transfer, and release from prison.

Missouri ensures that the inmate roster is public, making it accessible to private websites and government agencies. In many cases, third-party websites may give you an easier search since they are not geographically limited. However, since these sites are not government-sponsored, the information given may differ.

Be aware, Missouri does not provide juvenile criminal records to the public.
